    Thousand Island Dressing

    Jump to Recipe Print Recipe

Thousand Island Dressing is the perfect sauce to serve with Smoked Corned Beef or on Smoked Reuben Sandwiches. Add a little horseradish and make it into a Russian dressing.

For us, Thousand Island Dressing is a must for Smoked Corned Beef and Smoked Reuben Sandwiches.

We like adding a little horseradish to make it into a Russian dressing. Since each of us prefer a different amount of heat, we add the horseradish ourselves to the sauce on our own plate. We leave it out for our kids.

This sauce also tastes great on boiled or roasted potatoes, with carrots, or with cabbage.

    Serving Suggestions

We like to serve this sauce with some prepared horseradish that each guest can mix into their own sauce if desired.

This sauce goes great along sliced Smoked Corned Beef Brisket. We serve corned beef with boiled carrots, cabbage, and potatoes, which taste great with this sauce as well.

Thousand Island Dressing is also a critical component for Smoked Reuben Sandwiches. Simply add the Reuben sauce to the sandwich before grilling.
